📌 What is ACI (Advance Cargo Information) in Egypt?
Advance Cargo Information (ACI) is a customs regime under Egyptian law that requires detailed electronic cargo data to be submitted before goods are shipped to Egypt. It’s designed to:
Enable customs authorities to assess risks early,
Improve trade security and transparency,
Speed up cargo clearance at ports and airports, and
Replace paper-based documentation with digital filings.
